  • Sprint is a commitment. It shortens the window you have to line up a landing, so save Shift for the flat stretches between islands and drop back to a walking pace before a trap-heavy jump.
  • A low star rating usually means you took the safe line. Coins and stars sit on the harder route through a level, so the detours that feel risky are often exactly where the rating comes from.
  • Hold the double jump until a jump has clearly gone wrong. Wasting it out of habit leaves you with no correction in the air, and the only other thing that saves a run is a checkpoint you already reached.
  • Take Speed Boost before a long gap rather than in the middle of a trap sequence, because it changes how far a single jump carries you. Shield is the opposite: spend it walking into a cluster of traps you would otherwise have to route around.

How do I earn three stars in SkyHop 3D?
Levels are rated out of three stars, and the rating follows what you collect rather than simply finishing. Coins and stars are placed on the harder line through a level, so a careful run often scores lower than a messier one that took the detours.
Is SkyHop 3D free to play?
Yes. SkyHop 3D runs in your browser with no download and no account to create, and your progress is saved automatically as you play.
What do the power-ups do in SkyHop 3D?
Super Jump, Speed Boost and Shield all appear as pickups during a level. Super Jump and Speed Boost are most useful in front of a long gap, while Shield is worth spending on a stretch of traps you would rather run straight through.
