Tips and strategy

• Loot early, fight late. The shrinking safe zone rewards a full kit far more than it rewards kills, so treat the opening minutes as a shopping trip and only commit to a duel once you already have the better weapon.
• Melee is your panic button, not your plan. Swinging at a zombie that is still metres away locks you into an animation you cannot cancel, so keep the melee for the moment something is genuinely in your face.
• Grenades answer groups, guns answer individuals. Because the arena keeps compressing, two or three survivors are eventually forced into the same corner, and that is the only moment a grenade is worth spending.
• Let the zone push you rather than racing it. Sprinting to the centre early puts you between opponents and the loot, while drifting along the edge keeps your back clear and leaves the fights to other players.
