How to play

Tips and strategy

• Two matching slices only need to touch, so leave a corner of the tray free for the plate that completes the join. Clearing a whole cake is worth more than tidying up neat rows.
• Multi-colour plates are the awkward ones. Play them early while there is still room for the slice you cannot match, because the same plate late in a level is a dead slot.
• Chain reactions come from the order you play in. Clear a cake first, let the freed space take the next plate, and only then decide where the leftover slice belongs.
• Watch the tray as a whole rather than the plate in your hand. The position you lose from is the one where the slices still waiting have nowhere left to touch.
