Cocoon Crossing

Guide a wriggling worm across a course of 3D puzzles.

cong game

Cocoon Crossing 3D is a relaxing 3D routing puzzle. Drag the head or tail of each caterpillar and it crawls, tile by tile, toward the cocoon of its own color — reach it and it turns into a butterfly. Worms can't cross on the same level, but at a crossing they can climb over a bridge or slip under a tunnel. Solve each board within the move budget, chase the par star, and untangle your way through dozens of handcrafted levels.

  1. 1Drag the head or tail of a caterpillar to make it crawl one tile at a time toward its matching cocoon.
  2. 2Two worms can't overlap on the same level — at a crossing tile, send one over a bridge and the other under a tunnel.
  3. 3Get every worm home (they turn into butterflies) to win.
  4. 4Finish within the move budget; match par for a star.

  • Moves are the budget, so the shortest route is not always the cheapest. Walking a worm past its cocoon and back is sometimes what frees the crossing the other worm needs.
  • Find the crossing tiles first. Anywhere two routes meet has to be split between a bridge and a tunnel, and that decision shapes the rest of the board.
  • Send the worm with the longest route home first. The one with fewer tiles left can wait, and holding it back keeps the shared tiles clear while you work.
  • Par is about the move budget, so count the tiles to each cocoon before you drag. Wandering a worm around the board is the quickest way to miss the star.

How do I win a level in Cocoon Crossing?
Get every caterpillar onto the cocoon of its own colour, at which point it turns into a butterfly. Once they are all home, the level is complete.
What happens when two worms need the same tile?
Worms cannot share the same level, but at a crossing tile one can climb over a bridge while the other slips under a tunnel, so both routes still work.
What does par mean in Cocoon Crossing?
Every board has a move budget. Finishing inside it clears the level, and matching par earns a star, so a tidy route is worth more than a safe one.
