Bank shots off the side walls are your most reliable tool. Most boards have bubbles you cannot hit straight on, and a measured ricochet reaches them without wasting a shot on a colour you cannot use.
Aim to detach clusters instead of popping single bubbles. Anything hanging from a group falls with it, so one well-placed shot at the anchor point often clears more than three careful pops.
Collect the special items the moment a safe shot appears. They feed the rescue-the-mice objective, and level progress matters far more than squeezing a few extra points out of a risky setup.
