Tips and strategy
- Read every clue before committing to a choice. This is a decision-driven story, and the game deliberately hides the meaning of early options in documents and dialogue — the scary choice is not always the wrong one.
- Use landmarks to navigate the corridors. The yellow rooms repeat on purpose, so fixing a memorable sign or object at each turn keeps you from circling back into whatever is following you.
- Talk to every survivor more than once. People in the valley share new information after events unfold, and skipping the second conversation can lock you out of the safer branch later.
- Slow down when the sound design changes. Audio cues warn of danger well before you see it, and rushing the flooded tunnels or research rooms on instinct is how most bad endings start.
