Tips and strategy

• The Totem is your exit, so treat the items you find as possible pieces of it. Wandering the Realm with no goal only puts more forest between you and the way out.
• Pick things up as you find them rather than marking them to collect later. Backtracking through a first-person forest costs far more time than carrying something that turns out to be surplus.
• Move with purpose, but look into a doorway before you jog through it. The Realm is deliberately dark and enclosed, and most of what goes wrong comes from treating it like open ground.
• Navigate by landmarks instead of by direction. Every path in a first-person forest starts to look alike, so steering by the places you have already passed is what stops you circling.
