About this game

Minesweeper Pixel is the desktop classic rebuilt for thumbs. Every revealed tile tells you how many mines touch it, and from those numbers you deduce where the ten hidden mines are. The first tap is always safe and long-press plants a flag, so it works just as well on a phone as it does with a mouse. It is a pure logic puzzle — no timer pressure unless you want the fastest clear.

How to play

1. 1Click a tile to reveal it — the number counts nearby mines.
2. 2Right-click or long-press to plant a flag.
3. 3Reveal every safe tile to win without detonating a mine.

Tips and strategy

• Open in a corner. A corner tile has only three neighbours, so a low number there rules out more of the field than the same number in the middle.
• Count before you click. If a 1 touches only one unrevealed tile, that tile is a mine and no guesswork is needed.
• Use flags as bookkeeping rather than as decoration. Marking a suspected mine lets you subtract it from every neighbouring number, which often solves three or four tiles at once.
• When two numbers share the same unrevealed tiles, subtract the smaller from the larger. The difference is usually enough to place a mine without risk.
