Tips and strategy
- Learn what each button controls before you commit to a tap. One tap can flip several bulbs at once, so knowing the overlap is worth more than trying buttons at random.
- Start from the corner buttons. They usually reach fewer bulbs than the centre ones, which means each tap changes less of the board and is easier to undo in your head.
- Focus on the bulbs that are still off and ignore the ones already lit. Every button that touches a solved bulb is one you will have to compensate for later.
- When you are stuck, tap the same button twice and watch exactly which bulbs answer. That experiment costs nothing and reveals the wiring you were guessing at.
