About this game
Kingdom Wars is a medieval defence game where you merge facilities, traps and turrets to hold a castle against wave after wave of attackers. Every piece you place takes up part of a small board, so the strongest defence comes from combining what you own rather than spreading it thin.
How to play
- 1Drag two matching pieces on top of each other to merge them into a stronger one.
- 2Place traps and turrets along the routes attackers take towards the castle.
- 3Keep a few free slots open so pieces can still be merged once a siege begins.

Tips and strategy
- Keep two or three slots empty on purpose. A full board has nowhere to combine anything, so every new piece becomes a problem you cannot fix without giving something up.
- One merged piece holds a route far better than three basic ones scattered along it. If you cannot cover every approach, cover the one the waves keep coming down and leave the rest light.
- Do your building between sieges rather than during them. Merging takes a moment away from the defence, and that is exactly the moment the attackers are looking for.
- Decide which pieces you want on the board at the end, then work backwards. It is easier to place towards a known layout than to rearrange a board you filled one piece at a time.

Frequently asked questions
- How does merging work in Kingdom Wars?
- You drop one piece onto a matching piece to combine the pair into a single stronger version. Two slots become one, which is how the board keeps pace with later waves instead of running out of room.
- Can I play Kingdom Wars on my phone?
- Yes. Kingdom Wars is laid out in portrait, so it fits a phone screen naturally while playing the same way on a desktop.
- Which pieces should I merge first in Kingdom Wars?
- Start with whatever is covering the route the current wave is using. A lane defended only by basic pieces is the one that gives way, and a strong piece somewhere quiet is doing nothing for you at that point.
