Tips and strategy
- Resources arrive in real time, which turns every quiet moment into a deadline. Start the next defence during the lull rather than when the undead are already at the fence, because a plot you plant under pressure is a plot you planted too late.
- Place defences where the horde has to slow down. Anything covering open ground only fires while the zombies are inside its reach, so a spot they are forced to walk past buys you far more of your defence's time.
- Spend on coverage before depth. One powerful plant in a single spot leaks the moment the horde takes a different route, so spread your mutant defences across the approach before you pour everything into one of them.
- Do not fill your stores and sit on them. Idle resources are simply a defence you have not built yet, and the undead do not pause politely while you save up for something larger.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I play Farm vs Zombies on a phone?
- Touch is supported alongside the keyboard, so the whole game works on a touch screen. The layout is landscape, which gives you a wider view of your plots and of the lane the zombies are shambling down.
- How do I get resources faster in Farm vs Zombies?
- Resources come in over real time, so there is no way to rush the harvest itself. The practical answer is to keep the undead off your ground: crops they trample are harvest you never get back, which sets back everything you wanted to build.
- Where should I place my defences?
- Cover the approach rather than deepening a single plot. A lone upgraded defence still leaves the rest of your homestead open, while several modest ones across the lanes the zombies use keep the damage low long enough to harvest again.
