Tips and strategy
- Your drone travels to wherever you click, not where you are pointing, so keep the cursor ahead of the enemy and let the drone fly the line for you instead of tapping directly on top of a target.
- Movement is your only defence. There is no cover and no shield in the arena, so the drone that never stops drifting between positions is the one that rarely takes a clean hit.
- Do not kite yourself into a corner. Walls stop your drone but not the enemies chasing it, and a click-to-move pilot has no way to dodge a swarm once the space behind them has been cut off.
- Thin the swarm before it reaches you. Focus the nearest enemy that is already in your firing line, because a wave you damage evenly is a wave that arrives at full strength from every direction at once.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I play Drone Wars on my phone?
- Yes. The game is built around point-to-move controls, and on mobile a tap on the screen does the same job as a mouse click, so a single finger is enough to steer your drone through the arena.
- Is there a final wave in Drone Wars?
- No. Enemy drones keep appearing in the arena for as long as you survive, so a run ends when your drone is destroyed rather than when you clear a last wave. Lasting longer is the only way to progress.
- How do I avoid dying so quickly in Drone Wars?
- Stay away from the middle of the arena. Because the drone travels to your click, the safest line is around the outside of a crowd rather than straight through it, which forces incoming fire to cover more ground before it reaches you.
