  • A level is judged on cannonballs used, so look for the single shot with the most behind it. Taking out whatever holds a structure up does far more than hitting the part you want gone.
  • Stone blocks soak up a lot more punishment than the fragile jars, so put your early shots into the heavy pieces. Glass tends to fall once the thing it is stacked on has moved.
  • Aim low on a tower instead of at its top. Toppling a structure removes more of it than chipping away at the blocks you can see, and it costs exactly the same one cannonball.
  • Angle and power come from a single drag, so pull back further than feels natural when you want to shift something heavy rather than just dent it on the first hit.

How do I aim the cannon in Cannon Smash Fest?
Drag the mouse to set the angle and power, then release the left button to fire. It is one gesture, so the point you let go at is the whole shot.
Can I play Cannon Smash Fest on my phone?
Yes. It is a portrait game and the entire control scheme is one drag and release, which suits a touch screen well, with no keyboard needed at any point.
Is there a limit to how many cannonballs I get?
You are scored on efficiency rather than cut off, so the aim is to clear every obstacle using as few cannonballs as possible by planning each shot instead of firing at the first block you see.
