Tips and strategy
- Reload between fights, not during them. R is on its own key for a reason, and a magazine topped up the moment a corridor goes quiet is one you will not be missing when the shooting starts again.
- Crouching is more than a smaller silhouette. Squatting behind cover changes what you can see as well as what can see you, so use C to hold an angle rather than as a reflex when things get loud.
- Keep the grenade-gun for groups and corners. It sits on its own key, which makes it easy to forget until you are overwhelmed, and firing one into a room before you enter is cheaper than walking in on three enemies.
- Decide what your primary weapon is and keep it drawn. The number keys are there for switching, and fumbling a swap in the middle of a firefight costs more time than any weapon choice is worth.

Frequently asked questions
- What are the controls in Battle Shot Elite?
- G fires the grenade-gun, C makes you squat, R reloads and 1 draws your primary weapon. Those bindings cover most of what a firefight asks of you.
- Does Battle Shot Elite have more than one weapon?
- Yes. A primary weapon sits on its own number key alongside a grenade-gun, so the game expects you to switch between tools rather than rely on one gun all the way through.
- How do I survive longer in Battle Shot Elite?
- Reload before you need to, and use cover properly — crouching on C changes your profile as well as your aim. When a room looks crowded, a grenade through the doorway is a better opener than walking in.
